This is the second issue Please Please Me LP on the legendary gold Parlophone label. The Beatles' debut LP was issued just as Parlophone was switching to a new yellow/black design.
It is estimated that there were 25,000 copies printed on this label. The first issue has the Dick James publishing credits and the second issue has the corrected Northern Songs credits. Northern Songs was The Beatles own publishing company to which five tracks had been assigned to. The second issue with corrected credits is more rare than the first issue Dick James copies by a ration of approximately 2 to 1.
And if it wasn't rare enough, this one comes with Brian Epstein's Liverpool NEMS store bag!
Labels, vinyl and sleeve are all in near mint condition
