This is a genuine RIAA certified presentation piece, which has been produced by Dejay Products, California. Dejay Products are licensed to create presentation discs on behalf of the music industry. The RIAA certifies sales only and does not manufacturer the awards themselves. The record industry; usually the record company that the artist is signed to, has the disc manufactured for presentation to the artist. In order to do that, they must provide the RIAA certificate. Dejay Products then manufacture the disc and include the RIAA hologram to prove authenticity.
This one has the correct RIAA hologram and was presented to non-other than Noel Redding himself.
It's an amazing item that belongs in any serious Hendrix collection.
